New York-based and NASDAQ-listed business process outsourcing (BPO) service provider ExlService Holdings Ltd. expands to Cebu by 2013.

The company plans to add at least 1,000 seats to its local operations; which are two offices in the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City that have a total of 1,722 seats and 1,800 employees.

The company started operations in the Philippines in 2008.

New developments in next generation networks and satellite technology are among the highlights in CommunicAsia2012 and BroadcastAsia2012, touted as Asia’s largest ICT and media show this June.

Set to take place this June 19 to 22, 2012 at the Marina Bay Sands and Suntec Singapore, these expos will present emerging trends and provide networking opportunities for industry professionals.

This year’s shows will provide more than 20 international group pavilions and Five Techzones that address the most compelling issues for the ICT industry. The spotlight is set on mobile-driven trends.

People are not just ‘assets,’ they are human beings who must be encouraged to think independently. Without people, a company has nothing. It should be “People first before profits.”
