Hybridization is a natural occurence which simulates evolution and precipitates survival. The peppermint is one hardy example of hybridization. Humans have also utilized hybridization to get the best of both worlds.
As Stephanie Overby reports in her CIO.com article, Bangalore film MindTree is offering a hybrid of two traditional pricing for its off-shore IT services, the time-and-materials and fixed pricing. However, the article begs the question if this is really an innovation of a pricing model just a slick marketing tool?
