Philippine Banks are Stable

International credit rating agency and statistical rating org Fitch Ratings declares Fitch Ratings Philippine banks’ outlook is “stable”,  having shown resiliency amid the global economic crisis.

In its latest assessment of Asian banking sectors, Fitch said it did not see the Philippines’ financial institutions suffer from any major rise in loan delinquencies. Fitch also notes that the country’s banking sector have maintained comfortable levels of capital and good quality of assets.

IBM banks on the Philippines

IBM Vice President for global delivery  Richard Patterson announces that the IBM Global Delivery Center (IBM-GDC) in the Philippines is being upgraded and relaunched as its rise and performance since 2005 has made it the global business giant’s 4th highest-earning site.

India BPO goes Philippines

Wipro Technologies will soon open a business process outsourcing hub in Metro Manila, its second site in the Philippines, having previously opened its first base within the Cebu Business Park.

The Bangalore-based BPO company occupies half of Eton Cyberpod Centris building at the new urban development near the Edsa-Quezon Avenue intersection in Quezon City.

More BPO Buildings Rising
