The Commission on Information, Communication and Technology (CICT) vows to fully support Cebu’s information technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) sectors through programs in building the required human resources for the industry.

These programs are in coordination with the industry players, and critical education agencies such as the Department of Education, the Commission on Higher Education, and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

As Cebu is the 8th “emerged destination” for BPO investment in the World besting other developed sites such as Singapore, and some parts of India, the more that Cebu needs to sustain its position.
