Outsourcing Philippines – Software Games Development
March 18, 2010 | Leave a Comment
The Philippines has become a favorite outsourcing hub of many software game publishers due to the country’s significantly lower production cost, compared to United States and Japan.
Also, local companies aim to make their niche and take their share of the billion dollar global gaming industry with their products.
Most game development projects outsourced are end-to-end game development projects, character generation, concept art design, in-game animation, testing, quality control and game community support. It is expected that there will be an increase in demand for development of virtual worlds, social networking functionality and massive multiplayer games.
