Outsourcing : Big Game in Southeast Asia

Outsourcing in Asia Pacific arrived into its second consecutive year of strong growth, showing a doubled increase in demand across all services. The region’s average value of outsourcing contracts has increased by 25 percent, from USD141 million to USD176 million.
The region as a unified information and communication technology (ICT) hub has become a lure to big game hunters in the international business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.

Outsourcing : IT Catalyst to the Philippines

The Financial Times Group, comprised of experts in foreign investment, gave notice to the Philippines’ potential as a hub for business, trade and finance and ranked three of the country’s cities in its list of Top 10 Asian Cities of the Future 2007-2008. The list was published by the group’s affiliate Finance Direct Investment (fDi) magazine.
