United Kingdom’s National Outsourcing Association endows the Philippines the Best Offshoring Destination of the Year 2009. This the second time the country won the award, the first was in the year 2007.
The Philippines’ outsourcing industry provides enterprises a broad set of services, which includes conventional voice contact, IT services and higher value services such as medical transcription, finance, animation, engineering and architectural design.

Outsourcing Philippines – Storm Proof

The Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP), the biggest organization of call centers in the country, reports that only four call center sites were isolated by flood watersfrom the devastation inflicted by typhoon “Ondoy,” (International Name: Ketsana).
Minimal impact occurred for three of CCAP’s member companies, mostly in the form of stranded employees.
