Last 2012, Indonesia’s Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration (MOMT) issued MOMT Regulation No. 19 of 2012 on November 12. This memorandum covers important new rules in the outsourcing industry of the country.
Regulation No. 19 covers two types of outsourcing: business process outsourcing and manpower outsourcing.
This new law requires a business process outsourcing company to:
- be a legal entity;
- have a company registration certificate;
- have a business license; and
- have evidence of filing its mandatory manpower reports.
