In a previous Outsourcing Opinions post, “Outsourcing Philippines: Next Wave Cities“, we tackled on rising business process outsourcing destinations in the Philippines other than mega Manila and cool Cebu City. Among them is Iloilo City, Philippines.
Let’s learn more on how Iloilo City can be a promising investment hub in the Philippines.
Located in Region 6, Western Visayas, Iloilo City is the economic hub of the region as well as a major agricultural center of the country. It is declared by MoneySense magazine to be the best place to live in the Philippines.
According to Oscar Sanchez, CEO of the Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPAP), Iloilo has ideal conditions, like low cost of business operations and the availability of talents, to make it a prime destination for outsourcing back-office processes.
